Straits Financial Group is excited to reflect on the success of our exclusive “Need for Speed” F1 Event, held on 22nd September, 2024. The night was all about combining the electrifying energy of Formula 1 with great company, networking, and plenty of fun.

We welcomed distinguished guests from across the financial industry and beyond, creating an evening that effortlessly brought together high-speed racing and meaningful connections. Things kicked off at 6PM with a warm welcome during registration, setting the tone for what would be a memorable night.

Roger Quek, CEO of Straits Financial Services Pte Ltd kicked off the event by addressing the crowd, followed by a live band that got the crowd buzzing. As we all waited for the main event—the live screening of the Singapore F1 Grand Prix—guests had a chance to relax, mingle, and soak in the lively atmosphere.

Once the race began, everyone was hyped up and excited. Everyone was glued to the screens, with cheers and shouts of excitement filling the space as the race heated up. Whether a die-hard Formula 1 fan or just someone along for the ride, everyone felt the adrenaline rush of the race.

Between the race’s heart-stopping moments, guests enjoyed gourmet food and the chance to connect with each other in a laid-back manner. We also had two lucky draws during the event, giving guests a chance to win some fantastic prizes—these moments added even more excitement to an already buzzing night.
